Ποια σχέση μπορεί να έχει ένας σκοτεινός θάλαμος με μια τζαζ σκηνή; Κι όμως, η φωτογραφία και η τζαζ μοιάζουν περισσότερο απ’ όσο φανταζόμαστε. Όπως οι μουσικοί αυτοσχεδιάζουν πάνω σε ένα head , έτσι και ο φωτογράφος αφήνεται στο φως, στη σκιά, στη στιγμή που ξεδιπλώνεται μπροστά του. Η εικόνα δεν «παγώνει» τον χρόνο· τον αποκαλύπτει. Κι ο φωτογράφος γίνεται ένα ακόμη μέλος της ορχήστρας, αναζητώντας μέσα στο ημίφως μορφές, ιστορίες, ψίθυρους.
